What is this women’s group called Network of Memphis?

This premier women’s organization was created in 1977 as an informal group of professional women whose goal is to promote, enhance and support each other through business contacts and social interaction.

 

When and where are the meetings?

Network meets the second Monday of every month at a variety of locations. Networking starts at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner and a program. Dinner is $28.00 for members and $30.00 for guests.  Checks should be made payable to “Network of Memphis”.  Reservations need to be made by the preceding Friday at noon by e-mailing our Facilities Manager,Lucy Barnhart, at Lucy7606@aol.com or going to our website: www.networkmemphis.org.

 

What do you do at the meetings?

From 5:30 to 6:00 p.m. there is networking and socializing. Dinner is served around 6:00 p.m. with each woman standing and telling a little about herself.  This is your chance to spread the word about your business, current project, to ask for help or to thank a friend.  At around 7:00 p.m. a speaker will talk about a subject of interest to women for about 20 minutes.  Meetings usually end by 8:00 p.m.

 

Can I bring a friend?

YES! Bring lots of friends.  Just be sure to make reservations for dinner.

 

What if I make a reservation but don’t show?

Be sure to cancel your reservation as soon as you know you will not be attending the dinner meeting by e-mailing our Facilities Manager,Lucy Barnhart, at Lucy7606@aol.com.  If you do not cancel you will be billed for the dinner.
